She got paid $4,500 per week when she performed on Broadway, New York. In the 1910s, Gaby Deslys was one of the 10 most famous stars in the world.

2-Other publications are basically limited to one poster per film. This book offers the readers the opportunity to get acquainted with multiple posters for each film, issued at various dates, and/or for specific reasons.
3-In addition, American films which were shown abroad usually had regional posters published in foreign languages with a very particular cache, quite different from the English edition. It is always interesting to learn how foreigners have perceived the films, summarized them, and presented them to their perspective markets. Sometimes, the translation of the title of the film is self-explanatory.
4-Equally important is the foreign artwork and special details given to those foreign posters. This book gives you the opportunity to find out.
5-One major characteristic of this book is the fact that distinctive stills from the films are herewith published, thus giving you a general idea about the mystique and cache of the picture.
